Life Petals for Children's Cancer

This department is mainly funded by Donation Boxes placed in various locations such as supermarkets, shops, pharmacies in Lebanon. Ajialouna volunteer ladies visit private schools across Lebanon and sell Life petals featured items. The money raised is used to fund the Life Petals Department. In 2009, Ajialouna Organization introduced the “Life Petals Fund” to help children fighting to survive cancer. Ajialouna chose the flower to represent the children cancer fund, since children are like delicate flowers that require tender care to flourish and blossom.

The Life Petals Fund has a variety of fundraising techniques, for the purpose of creating awareness about the disease and to raise funds to meet the medical fees needed to treat children trying to survive cancer.

How are the Funds collected?
Many private schools across Lebanon are welcoming Ajialouna to support the “Life Petals Fund”. We were able to reach more than 25,000
students who supported these children and donated to the Fund. The school campaign is a one day event that takes place on their campus.

Another form of collecting donations is through the “Life Petals Donation Box”. This initiative started in July 2011. More than 400 “Life Petals
Donation Boxes” are distributed in various pharmacies, libraries, supermarkets, shops and entertainment locations all over Lebanon.

Several fundraising events are prepared during the year to promote responsiveness for the “Life Petals Fund”, along with yearly participation
in multiple exhibitions in Lebanon and abroad. Proceeds go to the “Life Petals Fund” to support children with cancer.
